Excel's are low density bowls. Meaning, this set of bowls weighs 2lb 4oz but are the same size as a standard density 2lb 6oz bowl.

Low density bowls are a good choice for slow running greens. Because of the lower weight, they will run a bit further than a standard density bowl.

These bowls have been coated with a spray polish. This aids with grip and gives the bowls a nice shine. The spray polish will wear away over time, but they can be recoated.
